About

I’m Kelly Adams. I’m a computer gaming, sci-fi and fantasy reading, software writing, one-time D&D playing geek. I also ride motorcycles, with my current bike being a Harley Davidson Road Glide.

I first rode a motorcycle when I was about 18 years of age after years of riding mopeds. I unfortunately didn’t successfully complete my motorcycle license practical test so I set aside the idea of being a biker. As a rather introspective fellow I am well aware of my own mortality, so I didn’t consider riding again until I was in my mid 40s. I caught the two wheel bug again, successfully completed a well-structured riding course, and got my motorcycle license in 2010. Since then I’ve ridden over 140,000 km.

This blog is a collection of motorcycle road trip ‘travelogues’, descriptions of gadgets and add-ons I’ve added or considered for my bike, and general opinion pieces related to the world of biking. I like to think and read a lot about riding and related technologies, so it may be that what I figure out is helpful to others such as yourself. I invite you to follow my riding adventures and hope you benefit from my experiences both good and bad!
